The “Constructing an Interdisciplinary Research Platform at Hong Kong Shue Yan University” (The Project) is continuing to bring research workshops, lectures by distinguished guests, and tutorials by leading academics, to the Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU). The Project, which began in January 2015, is funded by the Research Grants Council of the University Grants Committee.
The purpose of The Project, which uses both new and current resources, is to establish interdisciplinary collaboration in three strategic research areas of HKSYU. These areas include brain-based teaching and learning, decision-making, and negotiation and persuasion. It will construct an interdisciplinary platform to further academic research, and also offer academics the chance to learn from respected scholars and accomplished researchers.
