Introduction

Brain stimulation techniques have become more and more popular not only in neuroscience research, but also in DIY self-enhancement of brain functions. In this talk I'm going to outline different brain stimulation methods, introduce their respective underlying neural mechanisms, and discuss the pros and cons of each method. Potential ethical issues related to brain stimulation will also be discussed.
